I'm Heidi. I'm a female cyclist in perimenopause. And I've spent 27 years coaching women in endurance sport.
On paper, my credentials are solid: World Record Holder and World Champion in indoor rowing, Silver Medallist at the European Triathlon Championships, Oxygen Advantage Certified Instructor, Metabolic Efficiency Training Certified, Pilates Instructor, Specialist in female midlife performance.
But what qualifies me most to teach this workshop is not the medals. It's what happened after them.
Earlier in my life, I was trapped in a push harder, not enough, earn your rest identity that left me exercise-addicted, depleted, and disconnected from my own body. Recovery from that — combined with going through perimenopause myself — taught me that the conventional model of working harder and restricting more does not work for women at this stage of life. It makes things worse.
The CTB method is what I built when I realised the right answer was a smarter system, not more effort. It integrates breathing, fuelling, strength, nervous system regulation, and mindset into one cohesive programme — built specifically for midlife female physiology.
My clients are not exceptional. They had the right formula. That's what tonight is about.
